Still Love, Still Respect, Still Friends, Still...

Stacy and I shared 7 years of love, respect, adventure, sports and the London experience. We broke up on April 21st, but continue to live together until my renter vacates my house on May 31st.

Meeting Stacy at the airport in 1998 wearing a bear suit, flashing flowers and a chaufer sign. I dressed up in the airport parking lot and proceded through the metal detectors, airport train and waited outside immigration. This is not possible today, but glad it was back then. My beeper set off the metal detector, but my suit was so bulky it was difficult to reach. It was fun to watch people's reactions and it seemed to vary according to nationality.

Love that girl!

Recipe: Swimming Tofu Omelet

I’m fairly certain tonight is the first time I’ve eaten an omelet out of a bowl. You want the recipe, I see.

1. Hot pan
2. Add canola oil to expedite dishwashing
3. Add 1 over-ripe organic (noted for my friends who care) chunked tomato
4. Sprinkle salt and pepper (not the group)
5. Pluck fresh rosemary from stem. She loves me, she loves me not style
6. Add ½ brick of fat-reduced, drained, firm and 3 weeks past the pull date tofu
7. Stir fry until tofu is warm or you tire of waiting
8. Cover food mound with wafer-thin slices of cheddar and parmesan cheese
9. Cover existing layer of cheese with more cheese
10. Stir until cheese starts to sweat

11. Apply 3 non-free-range eggs, less shells
12. Stir, wait, stir, wait, stir, wait, stir, wait, stir, wait
13. Give up waiting for something to congeal
14. Pour omelet into bowl
15. Wash pan quickly, because it’s eggs man
16. Sit down, relax and take an anxious bite
17. It sucks. I guarantee it.

18. But I finished it
19. Why? Because it's like being 1 hour into a crappy movie.
20. I feel a bit ill.

Conclusions:
1. Rosemary is a weed.
2. Tofu needs its friends garlic and onion.
3. Pull dates are meaningful.
4. Butter good, canola icky

5. Don’t try this at home.
